How Invoicing & Payments Work
Starting this season, all stud fee invoices are delivered by email with a secure online payment option. Here is everything you need to know.
What is Changing
We have moved to paperless invoicing. You will receive your stud fee invoice by email instead of by mail. Each email includes a secure link to view your invoice and pay online through Stripe, the same payment platform used by Amazon, Shopify, and thousands of other trusted businesses.
This eliminates paper checks, postal delays, and the risk of lost mail. Your payment goes directly from your bank to ours, confirmed instantly.
How It Works
You receive an email from Ironhorse Stallions
The email contains your invoice details including the mare name, stud fee amount, and due date, along with a "Pay Invoice" button.
Click "Pay Invoice"
This opens a secure Stripe payment page. You will see your invoice summary and payment options.
Connect your bank or enter your account details
Select US bank account (ACH) as your payment method. Stripe supports direct connections with a huge list of major banks, so you can simply log in and link your account securely. If your bank is not listed, it is as easy as entering the routing and account numbers printed on your checks.
Confirm and you are done
The payment is processed securely. You will receive an email confirmation, and we will release your stallion service certificate once payment clears.

Common Questions
Can I still pay by check?
Yes. If you prefer to pay by check, please contact us and we will provide mailing instructions. However, we strongly encourage ACH payment for speed, security, and to expedite your service certificate.
Is my bank information stored?
Your bank details are handled entirely by Stripe. Ironhorse Stallions never sees, stores, or has access to your account numbers. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.
How long does ACH payment take to process?
ACH payments typically take 3 to 5 business days to fully clear. You will receive confirmation as soon as the payment is initiated, and we will notify you when it is complete.

Will I still get a receipt?
Yes. Stripe sends an automatic receipt to your email address as soon as your payment is confirmed. You will also receive a confirmation from us.
